Meet the Team

Doug moved to Aotearoa close to 19 years ago where he started his career working in laboratories. He has worked in various fields including the asset management, construction, contract management and business development.

He then joined Downer a little over seven years ago, during this time he has worked in two alliances with the Local Government, then as Regional Manager for the Waikato/Bay of Plenty and more recently he was the General Manager for the Central Region.

Doug is looking forward to leading Road Science and has already gained a great appreciation of the diversity and complexity of the business. He is excited to be part of the team and looks forward to what the future holds in terms of product development and innovation for the industry.
